AFTER CARE OF YOUR TATTOO

1. Your artist will place an absorbent bandage or covering. Leave bandage on for at least 2 hours, then remove bandage and wash tattoo thoroughly with warm water and antibacterial soap. DO NOT rebandage.

2. Dry tattoo by blotting with soft, clean, dry towel.

3. Apply Neosporin Cream 2-3x daily for the next 5 days. Be sure to wash hands and tattoo thoroughly in between each application.

4. Your skin will form a protective scab over your tattoo, this is normal. Once scabbing begins, apply any dye FREE, scent FREE lotion (Lubriderm Sensitive Skin) 3x daily to keep scabs moist. Less is more, too much moisturizer is not a good thing.

5. Do not soak tattoo, showers are fine.

6. NO sun, beach, pool, sauna, or jacuzzi for at least 14 days, or until healed.

7. If your tattoo itches, relieve by gently patting with a clean hand or applying a thin layer of lotion. DO NOT pick or scratch at scabs.

8. Exercise common sense during certain situations during your healing process. Ie: any exercise, gym going, or other activities that may threaten proper healing of your new tattoo. You've just gone through some pain and paid a pretty penny for your new tattoo. Relax for the next 14 days to ensure a stellar tattoo that will last you a lifetime.

9. Once your tattoo has completely rid itself of all the scabs, feel free to return to normal activities. When in the sun, apply a high SPF Sun Block to protect your tattoo from UV rays. This will limit the amount of fading that occurs from heavy sun exposure.
